Tensday: Ten Reasons I’m Staying In Seattle

Tomorrow my husband and I mark the second anniversary of our move to Seattle. I know that still makes me very much a n00b — but given our wandering natures, for the Mr. and I to stay in one city for two years is kind of a big deal. An even bigger deal is that whenever he suggests running off to, say, Central America or the Caribbean for a couple of years, I say “No thanks.” Here are ten reasons why.

– Easy Street Records
– The Cops
– We voted not to discriminate based on “disability, sexual orientation, and gender identity or expression.”
– Coffee.
– The Valley
– We flooded the streets celebrating for Obama, and the police let us.
– Afterwards, we cleaned up after ourselves.
– The Black Whales
– Sunset Tavern
– Our mortgage. (Hey — gotta be honest.)
